What do hospice volunteers do? Well, it's really up to you!
Some of our volunteers are direct service volunteers who visit hospice patients and their families, providing companionship and emotional support. Volunteers can also help with administrative tasks in one of our offices, or with creative project with our community education team.
We welcome professionals in our community (Massage Therapists, Spiritual Care Providers, Pet Therapists, Art Therapists, etc) who are interested in volunteering their specific talents as well.
Tennessee Quality Care Hospice offers extensive training to all volunteers. The amount and scope of training you receive is dependent on the type of services you will be providing.
