Become an Arts for Hearts Volunteer Team Member. We are a program under the Arts and Heritage Development Council providing FREE art classes and workshops in our community.

Our mobile art program inspires creativity, connects community and enriches lives. Programs are offered at community centers, parks, public spaces and neighborhoods. 

Our mission is to bring the JOY that comes with creating art to everyone in our community.

AFH strives to be a model program for Clarksville-Montgomery County, TN; ensuring better access to the arts for everyone especially for those dealing with poverty and isolation; encouraging hope and inspiration through creativity and positive interaction with volunteers, artists, and successfully collaborating and partnering with others committed to the arts.

OUR VISION: 

AFH envisions a vibrant and connected community engaged in discovering, exploring and creating art. The heartbeat of Arts for Hearts nurtures inclusive art making kinship and cultural expression by lifting and eliminating barriers to participation in the arts. Such barriers include cost, transportation, language and perception.
